Striking the right chord with a cohesive brand.
After packing up house and making a big move to Seattle, Ben came to me looking to develop an identity to market his many talents. My primary focus was to create a look for three specific roles: accompanist, musical director, and piano teacher.
I began by sketching an illustration to highlight each role, using his bright and bubbly personality as inspiration. I chose a saturated and slightly muted color scheme that offset the playful illustrations with a masculine, yet vibrant tone.
A piano served as inspiration for the shape of the logo, and a complementing typeface was added to match the tone of the illustrations.
In addition to the logo, four business card designs and a letterhead were developed, and Ben could not have been more thrilled with the results.
